Hello family!
How was the week for you all? Mine went super fast. I actually thought that it felt super super slow if yall know what i mean. My companion Elder Castro leaves for his house tomorrow in the morning and will be replaced con Elder Perez. I am sad to have a great companion leave, but i look forward that Elder Perez will be a good replacement.
This last week was pretty busy. We had lots and lots of things to do. We put down 2 baptism dates which made me super happy. They are both for this week on saturday and I am praying that everything goes perfectly. I am out here fighting the rain and sun looking for those chosen that the Lord has prepared. As these are my last 4 transfers in the mission, i hope to have much success and see aun more bleesings unfold in front of my very on eyes. I love the work and all that it is. I can't imagine what pointless things i would be doing if i didnt go on a mission. I am greatful for each and everyone of you for all the support and love you all have given.
This last week I learned a great lesson on following the promptings of the spirit. I say it was a good lesson because i learned, its just that it turned out bad.. last miercoles, I was with my zone leader on divisions in my area and as i was walking, I felt an urge to look to the right, I saw a person on the other side of the street who looked so familiar that i walked over and asked him from where I knew him or if I had talked to him before. He said "no", so I asked him if we could talk to him again and share the message of the restoration of the gospel and Church of Jesus Christ, we put an appointment for jueves at 4 o`clock in the chapel.... the next day I was eating and felt the urge to look at the time. I ignored and kept on eating my delicious chipoltle shrimp and when we stopped eating, we were a little late by 20 minutes, we got there and he wasnt there. I felt bad and then to make me feel even better, a person was working in the church and asked if i was elder schall, i said "yes", he responded that the man was outside waiting for me for 30 minutes and decided to go to the other church nearby... I still haven`t found him again and am sad that I didnt listen and obey the spirit. I learned the hard way. I hate it, but it wont happen again.... that's my little story that I thought would be good to share... so listen to the spirit and be quick to do what it says, you`ll never go wrong..
I love you all super much.
love your brother, son, and missionary.. elder schall
